“Hi, I’m Jessica! I became a qualified veterinary nurse in October 2024, after gaining two years of hands-on experience in a clinic that specialised in birds, reptiles, and exotic pets. My passion for animals and the environment has always guided my path, and I feel incredibly lucky to turn that passion into a career I love.

I first discovered Pet Wellness Centre as a client, bringing in my own cats for care. I was immediately drawn to the level of compassion and dedication shown by the team. After completing my TAFE placement here, I was thrilled to be offered a position and have felt at home ever since.

At home, I have two budgies and two cats with complex medical needs, and I fully trust the team here with their care. It’s a privilege to now be part of that team, helping other pet families with the same support and commitment.

I always strive to go above and beyond to support our clients—whether it’s answering questions, offering reassurance, or helping them feel confident in their pet’s care. I’m also one of the puppy school instructors here at the clinic, and it’s such a joy to help new pet parents build strong, positive relationships with their pups from the very beginning.”
