Dr Steph Molloy – Chief Wellness Officer Clinical

“Hi! I’m Dr Steph, Co-Owner and Chief Wellness Officer Clinical at Pet Wellness Centre.

I graduated from Sydney Uni in 2015 and have been in small animal practice ever since. I started my career with an internship at a specialist hospital and then went on to work in private practice in Brisbane. I moved to the Gold Coast in 2022 and have found my forever home here at the Pet Wellness Centre. In fact, I loved it here so much that when the opportunity to become the Chief Wellness Officer Clinical came up, I jumped at it. As the Chief Wellness Officer Clinical my job (other than being the best vet I can be) is to support and nurture our amazing team in providing the best possible care for our patients and delivering on our goal of helping our pets to live longer healthier happier lives.

I am a fully certified (crazy) Cat Lady, having completed my membership examinations in feline medicine in 2021. I am dedicated to ensuring that our feline patients receive the full benefits of our International Society of Feline Medicine Gold Standard cat friendly accreditation. This means that every visit is as stress free as possible.

Outside of feline medicine, I am passionate about providing thorough veterinary care to each of our patients and believe wholly in the benefits of holistic vet care in ensuring that our patients live their best possible lives. I believe that each of our patients deserves love and respect and love working with our more nervous patients to achieve the least stressful visit possible.

On my days off you might find me enjoying an early morning dip and coffee at beautiful Burleigh Beach or snuggled up with my two extremely spoilt cats Tintin and Donnie.”
