• Pet Acupuncture Demonstrations
• Heaps of fun and prizes!

We’ll also have all of the Team on hand so you can have a chat to our Canine Physical Rehabilitation Technician, our Animal Behaviourist or our Holistic Pet Therapist to see if there’s something more we can do to help you ensure the wellness of your pet.

So this place is a well kept secret (not really) of the Burleigh Waters locals. Me and Mama checked it out this morning. Mama says the food and coffee were  👌👌👌 but most importantly they had a water bowl out for me, I got some scratches from strangers and it was nice and comfy under Mama’s table waiting for scraps to fall 🤞 This place is #BrainApproved 🐾❤   xBrain

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas! We’re open 8am-6pm 28th, 29th and 30th December and then we reopen on the 3rd January.

If you’re looking for something to do to ring in the New Year, the City of Gold Coast website lists some of the family friendly NYE options here http://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/thegoldcoast/new-years-eve-events-6851.html . There will also be fireworks at Coolangatta at 9pm if you want to get an early celebration in with the kids.

Don’t forget your furry mates on New Years Eve! Some pets are very frightened by fireworks so please take the appropriate precautions for your pet. If you have a new pup or perhaps a new rescue pet, please don’t leave them alone during the fireworks if you’re not sure how they’ll react. Best thing is to try to help make it a really positive experience for them if you can. Treats, toys and music can help 🙂

Many pets get so distressed that they run away. If you find or lose a pet, Gold Coast Lost and Found Pets Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/goldcoastlostandfoundpets/?fref=ts  is a wonderful, helpful community and please also contact the pound on 07 5581 7600. If you need them, the amazing team at the Animal Emergency Service are open throughout the break, phone 5559 1599.

2016 has been a mixed year for the world, but it was and always will be the year that Pet Wellness Centre began – so we think it’s been a pretty good one! Here’s to an even better 2017! CHEERS 🙂

Parlour is definitely one of my faves. Mama says the coffee is outstanding (a very important requirement) and she really loves the healthy brekkie bowl of goodness.   • Complementary Therapies and how they can assist your fur babies – by Karen Shield, Holistic Pet Therapist – 11:15am and 1:15pm
  • Pet Safety Tips for Kids – by Bella and Cass (pWc nurses) – 11:45am and 1.45pm
• Guided tours of the Pet Wellness Centre
• We’re giving away one annual Pet Wellness Plan to one lucky pet on the day! (read more about the Pet Wellness Plan B here)
• Jumping castle for the kids
• Ball Pit for the pooches
• Snow cone stand
• Barbecue (raising money for RSPCA and AWL) thanks to West Burleigh Meats

• Frontier Pets will be launching their AMAZING ethically produced, organic dog food.

• The Paw Patrol Characters will be circulating for photos with the kids!

Now this is definitely one of my favourite places on the Gold Coast. Mama says the coffee is outstanding but I like the belly rubs and pats most. I do get special privileges at Warehouse No.5 because we’re neighbours and because I’m so well behaved (important not to disturb all the hard working people!). There’s a water bowl and lots of love from the staff to be had here and it’s right out the back of the Pet Wellness Centre!! Most enthusiastically #BrainApproved !
